Louis Armstrong was born August 4th, 1901 in New Orleans, Louisianna. His career spanned five decades.

He died July 6th, 1971


He had a strong influence in the Jazz scene.


He had recognizable gravelly voice and was very good at "Scat Singing". Scat Singing uses non-sense words.
