Meet Vince Guaraldi, the man responsible for a large number of "Charlie Brown" soundtracks.
He was born July 17th, 1928 and died on February 6, 1976. He was only 47 when he died.
In 1963, while searching for music to accompany a planned Peanuts documentary entitled A Boy Named Charlie Brown, television producer Lee Mendelson heard "Cast Your Fate to the Wind" on the radio while driving home from a meeting with Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz. He knew immediately that Vince Guarladi was the composer to fill the position. He has a "Jazz" style to his music.
